Franken Fundraising Goes Up
I know, I've been quiet, but I have something to actually say now!
An insider from the Franken campaign has told me they expect to report 1.8 million this quarter, up from his last report, and still indicating he's running strong.
Republican blogs are posting about Coleman's lower fundraising this quarter, but no word on what that amount will be. He needs at least 1 million to keep up with Franken.
No word from the Ceresi camp yet, but he'll also have to have a big quarter (which will be hard since this blogger hasn't even received any invitations to Ceresi fundraisers, but several to various Franken events...) if he wants to keep up with Franken. Perhaps Ceresi will have to give up and use his own money again.
